FAQ: FAQ

Is my session confidential?

Absolutely. Your confidentiality is of utmost importance to me. I follow the Australian Counselling Association Code of Ethics along with The Privacy Act (1988). If you are at risk of harm, if anyone else is at risk of harm, or if I am required to disclose information as required by law, these confidentiality arrangements may not be applicable.

What is the difference between counselling and coaching?

Counselling tends to be client centred, with you doing most of the talking and working your way to your own conclusions. Coaching on the other hand, may not be focused on a particular problem, but be directive and give you tools to work towards your goal.

Can I pay after my session?

Of course! I have a square reader for electronic payments, you can pay in correct cash, or bank transfer to me at least three business days before your session.

Do I need to bring anything?

I'd suggest bringing a notebook and pen if you would like to take notes, along with a water bottle or warm drink. Keep in mind I do not have catering facilities.

Can my baby or toddler attend with me?

Certainly! Keep in mind it may be hard to focus, so please let me know if you need to bring bub with you. A few toys to keep them occupied may also be a good idea.

What is your space like?

My space is adjacent to a yoga studio, however is soundproofed to reduce any distractions. My room is a shared space within a cycle studio, but is welcoming, air-conditioned and cosy for our session.

Do you work with children and teens?

Children and Teens just need a parent or guardian to attend the session. One-on-one work may be required and if so, this will be confirmed with the parent in the session. I do have a blue card and criminal checks also.

How do I cancel?

Call or text me on 0412 436 573 if it is within 24hrs of your appointment. A 50% fee will be invoiced for cancellations within this time. Outside of 24hrs will not occur any fee.
